The chapel at Holy Cross Priory was built in 2013, however residents started to report water ingress issues within the chapel. It was found that the existing single ply system was failing and required a replacement.
The roof was stripped and a new cut to fall insulation scheme was installed to improve thermal efficiency and improve drainage.
A new protan EX-A 1.5 single ply system was installed to cover the upper and lower roofs of the chapel along with the weathering of a roof light for natural light access into the building.
Our works on this project were put forward into the UK NFRC Roofing Awards in 2020 and became a finalist runner-up.
